Power Generation

Of particular interest to InterWorld in the near term are coal and power generation technologies. InterWorld is currently investigating the establishment of a program that will involve the creation of a network of distributed power generation units in China to extend the reach of China’s electricity grid.

InterWorld maintains relationships with government agencies, national laboratories, universities, coal and energy companies, international banks and private research organizations in aid of its business objectives.

World energy markets are undergoing a major transformation. Market liberalization and privatization of energy infrastructure have led to commoditization of energy and transformed once isolated areas into regional centers. In this more competitive environment, customers seek new ways to meet their energy needs and to manage the risks associated with volatile market conditions, while at the same time governments and authorized agencies charged with the responsibility of creating new generation, seek appropriate and reliable processes by which they can assure the development and financing of energy generation projects.

Benefits of Experience

As both a provider of project development services and through MidAtlantic Energy Group, Interworld’s principal has provided value to clients and partners through a knowledge and understanding of the processes by which energy generation plants are developed and institutionally financed, and was among the first independent power developers active in the United States when the competitive retail market opened in 1978, providing energy generation development and project finance solutions to U.S. customers and clients.
